Welcome! My name is Jessica. I was born and raised in a small town (although it is growing) in California! I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 21 years and have a son who is now 18 years old. Even though he still lives at home with us, we sometimes consider ourselves "empty-nesters" because many nights it's just the two of us! We live in a farm-style home on 3 acres that we consider our fixer upper! We have 3 dogs, some chickens and horses on our property. I do work outside of the home but still enjoy keeping my house cleaned and tidy and making new meals for my family to try. I hope to be able to share cooking in a positive way and remind you that simple and cheap can still be delicious. I am a minimalist at heart and it definitely flows into the kitchen while I am cooking! I am a firm believer that you don't need all the fancy or expensive things to make tasty food for your family!
