Thank you for your interest in my channel. I immigrated to the U.S. from Iran 8 years ago, and have enjoyed learning of so many amazing cuisines from around the world during my time in the States. Over the last several years, I have discovered many traditional favorites and variations on those dishes to make in my home, much to my family's delight. In my day job as a social worker, I have seen how so many people struggle to make ends meet, spending money they don't have to feed their families when they could eat better and more healthily for a lower price. From my personal experience of rationing while growing up in Iran, I decided to make it my mission to use this platform as a tool to help people learn how to make tasty, healthy food on a budget. In the process, I also want to share an eclectic but interesting mix of dishes to delight everyone else, whether or not cost is an object, to show the array of possibilities that are available.
