I am a soon-to-be 40-year-old gamer suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome who has played video games all of his life and has never given any thought about what I would do with my future. I was born and raised on the islands of Hawaii on the North Shore, a tiny little town of fewer than 2,500 people, and I lived there for 30 years. I have never invested in my life and was told it is "gambling," so I never started. My goal is to educate people by sharing my story and the results of investing 1 dollar a day in something that will give me a possible better future. I picked 1 dollar a day because I firmly believe that many of us can find a way to put at least a minimum of 1 dollar a day into something.
