Bigyaan (BiGyanology) strives to make Science teaching and learning fun and engaging and easy to do. It supports teachers to make their lessons as hands on and activity based as possible. It hopes to inspire a life long love of the subject. Towards this end we create content that supports teachers, home educators, science enthusiasts and students make and do things with their own hands. All materials used are either cheaply and easily available or use low-cost and standard school lab equipment. The aim is to ensure that every child participates fully in the learning process and is not a silent by-stander in the classroom. We have now started a series on microscopy bringing to you the excitement of looking at the world beyond our normal vision from exploring onion scale cells, plasmolysis to microbes you would find in a placid lake. You will be surprised and the action packed microscopic world. Look out for our latest addition of 2 minute teaching hack videos too.
