Melissa Riso was born in June, 1986 in Monterey California. After being a model and actress for 10 years, she decided during the pandemic to become a nurse. She just graduated with her Associates in Science and has two more years left to get her BSN to become a Registered Nurse. Melissa’s tattoo was a result of a near death car accident while she was a freshman in high school. She had broken her back and suffered internal bleeding. Surgeons had to cut her stomach open, which produced an unsightly surgical scar and was too thick to correct with plastic surgery at the time. Feeling uncomfortable with the look of the six-inch long scar, she decided to cover it with a design that became her signature tattoo. In the last two years, she has been in the process of now removing the tattoo and showing off the scar. Melissa is a CEO of her own men's hair product line called Mr By Melissa Riso. She created a men's hair pomade, shampoo and conditioner.
