Hello, homesteaders and those who are still dreaming about a homestead of your own... Our family of two moved from Colorado to Missouri in the summer of 2019 to begin homesteading on our debt-free 4-acre property. We didn't grow up on farms, but we are diving headfirst into planting an orchard, growing a garden, and keeping chickens and ducks. The goal is to become less dependent on the existing food system and grow toward self-reliance. Follow along with us to see our progress and the many hiccups along the way. Thank you!
