My name is Nanaaba, and I’m from Ghana. My love for cooking began at a young age, when my mother would invite me into the kitchen to help prepare meals. She often asked me to assist with prepping fresh produce and other ingredients. My mother always followed a strict weekly menu, so we all knew exactly what to expect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner each day of the week. I’ve always been fascinated by how organized and well-equipped her kitchen has remained over the years. My cooking style is deeply influenced by African cuisine, especially the bold, rich flavors of my West African (Ghanaian) roots. I make it a point to elevate the traditional dishes I grew up loving by using fresh, vibrant ingredients.
