What is Games Repainted? What started as a fun little activity with some friends has turned into an ongoing group project of editing textures and other various files in video games for comedic entertainment. It all began with Luigi's Mansion Repainted back in October 2014. It was then that the group decided afterwards that repainting games should be something they do together more often as it was very fun and the viewers seemed to like it too. This led to the group repainting more games like Super Mario Sunshine and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Games Repainted. The group continues to play repainted games as well as regular play-throughs of non-repainted games on a regular basis.
