Be the decisive squirrel. We've all seen the indecisive squirrels that are stuck in the middle of the road because they can't decide which direction to run. After years of a similar indecision on what our big goals are, our family recently decided we did not want to move out to the country, but we did want to produce as much of our own food as possible. We're working toward that goal on our one acre suburban lot in Central Texas. Join us as we garden, preserve food, raise chickens, build and renovate, sew, and continue learning and practicing the hands on skills that make us a little more self sufficient and able to help ourselves and our neighbors.
