Well, hello there! Lovely to meet you! I am Stéphanie and best known for my sculptures on trash or thrifted objects. I also like to draw with ink, and paint with watercolor. Recently I have been getting into oils as well. At the core, my work is about the impending doom that is hovering over our heads: climate change, the energetic crisis, pollution and all the things that humans do in order to destroy Earth with precision. But at the same time, nature is resilient and growing back, more beautiful than ever. It’s a cheerful apocalypse. :) Here on YouTube I share the creative process behind my work.
