Official Channel Dark Lunacy is a symphonic / melodic death metal band active since 1997. Since its beginning, its sound has stood out for its mixture of elements of classic music and North-European Death Metal, therefore it has been acknowledged among the pioneers of a genre that mainly developed in the following years. In almost 20 years of career, the band met great acclaim abroad, with appreciated albums which have been distributed worldwide, and with a strong fanbase in Mexico and Japan, countries where the band performances are widely requested. Dark Lunacy is about to release its sixth full-length, and it has been defined by the band itself as the most ambitious album of its career, and its production included the recording of a 40-piece choir, as well as the typical string quartet and grand piano.
