Welcome to Living in Greece! In the midst of a global pandemic in early 2020, my wife (Tanya) and I (Andy) decided to up sticks from our normal life and buy a house and live in Greece. We must have been crazy! We had never been to mainland Greece before! Our entire experience of Greece comprised a two week holiday in Crete several years before. Live in Greece is a record of our adventures and our daily life here in Greece as we live, work and renovate our old stone house in the mountain village of Didyma, Peloponnese. Live in Greece talks about Greece life, the pros and cons of living in Greece and the cost of living in the mountains in this amazing country. So if you are thinking of moving to Greece, working in Greece or even plan to retire in Greece then stick around. Tanya and I plan on covering everything from TV to earthquakes, buying a car to renovating a bathroom, growing our own food to taking an island break.
