Hey there! Thanks for dropping by. Have yourself some sweet tea and pull up a chair as I tell you all about myself and all the components that make up me...and my Alabama home. I'm a wife and mother homesteading while dealing with chronic illness - all at the same time. Then there's the puppy dogs - Boone, Marlee, and Rosebud. (Those three are hoots!!) In the future I'd love to add chickens, goats, and maybe a pig or two to the homestead...the more the merrier. I enjoy gardening, preserving food through canning - freezing - dehydrating, crafting, reading, and constantly learning new skills. My philosophy is the more we learn the more self-sufficient we become. This year we're putting in a major garden, at least for us anyway. We're on the fence between Zones 7A-7B.
