New things usually start with someone being annoyed by something not going right. I´m fed up when Dutch people using the English language without much preparation. They just start talking, assuming their audience will understand and forgive mistakes. Dunglish by Dutch football managers and politicians, but also bad translations of text, producing hilarious and at the same time embarassing moments. And even loss of business due to misunderstandings or a lousy impression. No intentions to just name and shame, but really an effort to help fellow Dutchmen prepare better and start using sound English sentences and expressions next time.
