For over a decade, BET Award®-winning artist Stonebwoy has been a dominant force in African music, widely credited as the creator of the globally recognized Afro-Dancehall genre. His sound is rooted in Afro-Dancehall while incorporating mainstream and global influences. Stonebwoy is one of Africa’s most decorated musicians, with over 105 career awards, including three Ghana Music Awards® Artiste of the Year, four AFRIMA®, and three IRAWMA®. In 2024, he won twenty-five awards, making him the most awarded African artist that year. By 2025, he was recognized as the most awarded Ghanaian artist of the decade, with seventy major honors.
