Red the Cooking Dad is somewhat a result of the Covid pandemic. When restaurants closed, we did what we had to do. Kids were at home when schools were closed. My wife and I have to cook daily for our family. I only know how to cook 5 dishes. After a week, the recipe rotation came into full circle. I started looking into recipes on-line. As a busy Dad with really no cooking experience, I looked for easy ones that I can just whip out. As it turns out, Cooking is manageable. No different from simply following instructions. Soon, I started cooking many dishes to the delight of my family. I started with the familiar then ventured to a little more exotic. I made some modifications, maybe add more salt or spices available to me. Soon, I somehow made the recipes easy and with my own twist. I started this Youtube channel in the hopes of inspiring non-cooks, Dads, Moms, to try and explore the joys of cooking. Covid might have disrupted our lives, but I also help me discover something new. -Red
