Hello There! My name is Tina (trail name Silva) and along with Matt, my husband, are vlogging some of our hiking adventures! I also do a lot of solo hiking and backpacking. We live in Maine and have some spectacular mountains to hike here in Maine and all over New England! I completed 657 miles of the Appalachian Trail going NOBO in 2021, 368 miles in 2023 and 331 miles in 2024 for a total of 1356 miles completed so far. I plan on returning to the AT in the spring of 2025 to complete the next section. I will be picking up where I left off and heading to Katahdin and vlogging my adventures. I also have the goal of completing the New England 67 and have been slowly working on that list. There are 67 mountains total in New England that are considered 4,000 footers: 14 in Maine, 5 in Vermont and 48 in New Hampshire. We talk about gear and sometimes tell a few stories while exploring the great outdoors. New videos will be uploaded every Sunday, so come along on our adventures!
