This channel is dedicated to fostering and preserving the history of Bloomington and Monroe County Indiana. This is done through the Monroe County History Club. The club meets monthly on the last Tuesday of each month. Our speakers present oral and video presentations about various historical facts about our county. The meetings are conducted at the Bloomington American Legion Home, Post 18, on West Third Street. There are no dues and everyone is invited. The Legion offers a fine luncheon menu. Usually people tend to gather about 11:00AM foir lunch and the speakers usually begin their presentations around 12:30PM. The programs are recorded by local CATS TV. They are later broadcast on their tv channel and we then upload them to YouTube for people who may not be able to attend.
