The Friends of Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the public school system planetarium in Arlington, VA and promotes science education for the general public. The group raises funds to sponsor a college scholarship, grants for teacher professional development, and the licensing of programming for the planetarium. As part of its ongoing public education mission, the organization also hosts a variety of science themed public events and screenings of fulldome videos.
