In addition to his Turkish origins, most of Aslan’s childhood was spent in a variety of countries, including Switzerland, Pakistan, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Because of this, Aslan Dalgic has gained unique insight of the world and some of its many cultures. Through experimentation with different art forms and an insatiable desire to tell compelling stories, Aslan eventually discovered the power of filmmaking – an amalgamation of all art forms. Out of all aspects that Aslan love about filmmaking, the continuous struggles of intense production work is what drives him the most. That, in combination with close collaboration with like-minded people makes for an effective recipe, which he actively seeks out to both cultivate and participate in. Aslan’s work has been screened at numerous festivals around the world including Hong Kong Arthouse Film Festival, Adelaide International Youth Film Festival, Ozark Shorts, Laguna Film Festival and Qabila Film Festival.
