I started a hedge fund in 2012 from my college dorm room and ran it for almost a decade. We traded up to $7.1 billion USD per day. We were lucky to earn industry recognition, including the Forbes list and the top 50 HFT firms of all time. We were not successful by any means, but we do know bits and pieces about our industry. When you Google hedge funds or HFT, the results aren't helpful. The industry is opaque. Information is siloed. If you don't know someone who's done it, good luck figuring it out. By dedicating time to this channel, I hope to change that narrative and offer stories and advice from a founder's perspective. If you have topic suggestions, feel free to comment!
