Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) was established on January 8, 1979 by Dr. George Ty Siao Kian. As the corporate social responsibility arm of the Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank), MBFI implements programs that recognize excellence in key sectors of the society and maintains dynamic partnerships with different organizations to provide services for the marginalized. Inspired by the bank's escudo, our logo is a stylized pentagon with a red heart to symbolize the Group’s corporate citizenship. Blue, our official color, signifies the nobility of spirit.
