Nicknamed the "Chugga Queen," she grew up in a musical family and discovered her passion for performance early. Mimi Mars launched her recording career on February 22, 2017, with the single "Shuga," which earned widespread attention across East Africa and helped establish her as a rising voice in contemporary Tanzanian music. Since then she has released music as a solo artist, appeared in film and television projects, and built a reputation for energetic performances and genre-blending songs.
