BESS's aim is to promote education, research and best practice in upper limb orthopaedics - more specifically the disciplines of shoulder and elbow surgery. This channel is to support GP’s (general practitioners) and their patients and provides information and exercise videos for the most common cause of shoulder pain. The videos support a downloadable leaflet (http://www.bess.org.uk/application/files/7215/2723/2910/PublicationA5version-nonbooklet.pdf) These booklets and videos have been prepared by BESS surgeons and BESS physiotherapists with the support of the NHS Getting it Right First Time Programme (GIRFT).
