The Ohio Association of Teachers of Japanese is a non-profit organization comprising of teachers and advocates of Japanese education in Ohio. The mission of the OATJ is to promote and improve the study and the teaching of Japanese, and encourage a spirit of professional cooperation among its members. OATJ is a local affiliate of the American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ) , the national Japanese education organization. When you join AATJ, please choose OATJ as your local affiliate. This will further strengthen the purpose of the OATJ and allow us to advocate the importance of the Japanese.
