About

I have been composing orchestral music since 2008. My inspirations include Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, James Horner, John Barry, Henry Mancini, Elmer Bernstein, Ennio Morricone, Danny Elfman, and countless others. I am particularly drawn to Pre-2000's era film soundtracks; that is the era/style that I have modeled my own music around (with my own added flavor, of course). But funnily enough: I don't know how to read or write music (I have a lot of difficulty learning and retaining certain kinds of information). I also do not know how to play ANY instruments. Everything I compose has been done by ear. I have a basic understanding of Music Theory (which I love), piano keys and notes, chords, etc. But that's it. I'm fueled by a deep passion for music, it is everything to me. I would say that a large part of what I'm trying to do (in my own small part) is "preserve" a specific style of music, especially the Goldsmith-"style," which I feel was taken away from us far too soon.
