Welcome to Tings Invest! By way of introduction, my name is Maurice Ng, I am a venture capitalist on a mission to change the ecosystem of entrepreneurship by investing in underrepresented founders (1st Gen Immigrants, People of Color, Women, LGBTQ, and People with Disabilities). Previously, I was a Strategic Finance Partner/ Chief Of Staff equivalent at SurveyMonkey, where I was responsible for managing company-wide operations. Before SurveyMonkey, I was a Private Equity Investor at Farol Capital, an investment firm based in NYC. At Farol, I was responsible for due diligence and monitoring investment opportunities across all industry sectors. Prior to joining Farol, I was an Investment Banker at J.P. Morgan. I am currently a Board Advisor at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), Modern Guild, and Apex for Youth, Council Member at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), Mentor at TechStars. I am a graduate of Stanford University (EEP) and received a BBA in Finance from Baruch College.
