My name is Randy Skroback. My wife & I live in Tucson, AZ. We have been cruising since 2007. In the last couple of years, due to an inability to walk long distances, I have started using a mobility scooter for travel & especially on cruise ships. Prior to a cruise in October 2021, I did extensive research on YouTube, looking for videos of individuals using mobility scooters or electric wheelchairs while cruising. My search turned up very few results. A lot of the available videos were talking heads discussing, but not showing, how to negotiate your way around the cruise ship w/a mobility scooter or wheelchair. November 2021, I started my YouTube channel Skro's Nest. My content deals with tips for successfully cruising w/a mobility scooter. I try & show both the positive & negative sides of what one may encounter on a cruise ship w/a mobility scooter. Even though I use a scooter, I am sure that wheelchair & other accessibility equipment users will also find this information helpful too.
