For more than 70 years, the University of Arizona School of Journalism has produced some of the top journalists in the state — and nation. Notable alumni include NBC's Savannah Guthrie and Dan Hicks, ESPN's Jeff Goodman and Pulitizer Prize winners Ryan Gabrielson and Paul Gilblin. Other alums have shared Pulitzers for breaking news and public service, including recent grads Brittny Mejia, Stephen Ceasar, Marisa Gerber and Kristina Bui of the Los Angeles Times. The school, home to the Center for Border & Global Journalism, is a leader in international and science reporting with acclaimed professors who have worked at top news operations, including the New York Times.
