Garden, preservation, and nurturing our family orchard & forest Hi! Ray and Kim here in Beavercreek, OR. Unbelievable story to share but here we go. The day after Christmas 2014, Ray found an ambiguous CRAIGSLIST posting of a 70 acres deforested lot for sale! Yup, found it on Craigslist! We called the realtor and asked if we could see the property. We told Kim's Mom & Dad visiting from Hawaii to bundle up and join us for a drive out to the country. This is where our journey to homesteading began. It's been a wonderful ride since that magical day in 2014. Purchasing the land in 2015 and every year developing it to a point where we could finally call it home. It took 6 years but here we are. We hope you get a smile when checking in with us from time to time sharing our experiences in the garden, preservation, and tending our family orchard & forest. We couldn't feel any more lucky and blessed with this life we have been given!
