We are transforming our lives to be less dependent on others to survive in this world. We have some basic skills already but are learning and implementing new ways to thrive and be self-sufficient. You don't have to wear Bib-overalls and totally change who you are just to live a better lifestyle. We are using Homesteading ideas and converting our land and home to become as off grid as and self-sustaining as possible. Follow us as we get our first chickens, build our own chicken coop, install some solar power to supplement our electric, install manual water pumps, create and plant our new gardens that will produce fruits and vegetables year round, and use our new freeze dryer to preserve our food for long-term storage, and to dry our own food so we have an emergency supply that lasts 25 years or more.
