Hello, welcome to the Painted Spoon. This channel is about sharing artisan skills and ideas. I am a retired chef creating and discussing the best unprocessed recipes for the home cafe and coffee bar. I also have a studio workshop that I call the Painted Spoon Workshop, which is where I make handmade leather wallets, and talk about leathercraft. Culinary art in the home can take many different forms, I like to take a simplistic rustic approach using traditional recipes and techniques. The origin of the food I consume is important so the same whole food farm to table purchasing strategy I took to fine dining is applied to my small home kitchen studio. I use a few simple modern tools to make the staple ingredients from the finest raw materials and scale my recipes for one or two people but all recipes are easier to scale up. Cheers!
