The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is home to a population of approximately 8,000 people, making it the ninth largest municipality in Newfoundland and Labrador and the largest Indigenous populated community in Labrador. Ours is a vibrant, diverse and multi-cultural community with representation from the Innu, Inuit and Métis as well as Newfoundlanders, other Canadians and non-Canadians. The Town works in strong partnership with the Innu Nation, Nunatsiavut Government and the NunatuKavut Community Council. As the only location in Labrador where road, sea and air services all come together with quality infrastructure, Happy Valley-Goose Bay is proud to be the hub of Labrador!
