"09 Productions" was formed in 1983 by a group of Louisville high school students with a creative itch to scratch. Raymond Orthober, Patrick Fitzgerald, Tim Lally, Tim Kelty and Joey Fritsch agreed that, going forward into eternity, this production company would forever exist and represent the work of the artists in an all-for-one-and-one-for-all environment. Any member of the group could create and produce under the moniker "09 Productions" and would then split any profits of their creativity equally among all members. Proudly, since 1983, "09 Productions" has earned not a single cent of profit. Most importantly - 09 was the band that the group put together at that time and played cover songs of the era. The name "09" is pronounced OOH-NINE and comes from the German language class they had as kids in high school. Oh Nein ! Translation = a dejected and exasperated statement of Ooh-No (Think - oh no, not them again!) Kind of like the modern day emoji of SMH , or a face palm.
