News and Analysis on the ongoing Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice & Fire franchise, books and TV series, including the prequels and spin offs, starting with House of the Dragon. A lot of my focus is on researching what's going on behind-the-scenes: not just "reacting" to an episode or story elements, but investigating what the cast & crew reveal about how it was made. This extends to broader issues about "state of the industry" topics, which affect what projects get greenlit and which don't. When I have time I also report on shows similar to Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon, the major competitors among "the most talked about TV and movie projects". Right now the only other one I'm going to try to report on is Amazon Prime's Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power prequel series, because I already know the books and backstory well enough that I don't need to re-read them, so I can make quick reactions off the top of my head.
