I'm Jess Andrykew, another soul floating through the universe in search of purpose and meaning. I have ultimately decided that I don't want to be an expert in anything and have created this channel as a documented journey of my unorthodox practices in photo and film as I make some of my own rules while working with the fundamental principles that apply to the industry. I have never liked structure, yet I understand that foundations are required to build even the most abstract projects. When I look through the lens, I see visuals in a way that don't always fit the rules of lighting, composition or proper technique and that is fine! You should feel free enough to do this too. Follow my journey as I show my way of bending and ignoring the rules and also discovering where they may have been beneficial to keep in place.
