MIA's maternal grandfather was a full blooded Inca Indian, born in Lima Peru of the Andes Mountains, South America. Unusual events & circumstances have always surrounded MIA's life; and she believes to have inherited her ancestors' psychic"third-eye" ability to feel-out and sense the presence of energy pockets. This Shaman-like talent was gifted to her while praying in the Oracle Chamber on Oct. 3rd, 2007, just after the vision loss in her left eye. Through her blindness she received: TRUE INSIGHT! MIA is a devote Roman-Catholic, but believes in the common thread that all spiritual religions hold. Peace =n= Love help knit the Great Tapestry of human civilization and MIA tries to promote these practices of the heart, through her Art, her Words and Actions in daily life. A REAL "Flower Child"!
