After winning Ottawa's Up & Coming Comedian Award early in his career, he hit the road indefinitely coming to the realization that there's no point paying rent to live in a stranger's place, when you can park outside of it for free. Why pay a landlord? Be a Vanlord! He shares his unique lifestyle on his youtube channel Matt Watson Comedy which got him featured in New York's Business Insider & ABC News in Australia. He's performed at Just For Laughs 42, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, International Glasgow Comedy Festival, Aberdeen Comedy Festival, Perth International Arts Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, & can be heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Every performance Matt's goal is cheer people, make them happy and have them forget at least momentarily all the unpleasantness in their lives, in hopes to remind them that their own passions are worth chasing.
