Medhavi Skills University (Sikkim) – MSU – was established in June 2021 with the passage of the Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act 2021, in the Sikkim State Legislative Assembly on 29th June, 2021. MSU will strive to bring convergence of the skilling ecosystem with the higher education tracks. MSU is the first of its kind pioneering university model where corporates/ industries will be the stakeholders and influencers in course curriculum design, programme delivery, practical skills training as well as for providing on-the-job apprenticeship and internships.
