Director and Ballet Master of the company Color of Dance, Cathy Laymet holds the French national diploma in Ballet for Teaching. She also created her own floor barre method in which she focus on proper posture and placement, respecting the anatomy of each dancer. As a dancer, Cathy Laymet was first trained at the Madrid national ballet school and later trained with Raymond Franchetti and Serge Peretti.
