Listening and Speaking The English language support program at APEL offers language courses to assist students with reading, writing and speaking skills. Here you will build your English vocabulary. You will develop your ability to maintain conversations in English, talk about yourself and your interests and ask questions to others. HELP Reading Foundations This course provides a strong foundation in basic reading skills for beginners. Your reading fluency and comprehension will increase as you study and practice effective strategies. HELP Writing Foundations Here you will learn the basics of writing by writing simple, compound and complex sentences. Then using these sentences to write different kinds of paragraphs. HELP Basic Grammar This will help you to communicate in English by focusing on useful grammar points. You will learn and practice these points by using all four skills: Reading, writing, listening and speaking
