The Online and Blended Teaching Hub is a product of Project TIME, Teaching Innovations in Multimodal Education, a multidisciplinary initiative of Purdue University and its partners. The project was funded by an Indiana GEER grant, entitled “Becoming an Online Teacher Even When I Didn’t Sign Up for It” from the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund. The goal of the project is to train teachers to integrate online teaching and learning strategies as part of hybrid, hy-flex, or longer-term fully online instruction. The project is developing a series of online modules and micro-credentials (i.e., digital badges) to assist teachers in learning to design effective online learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of their learners.
