Eh there! I’m Effie & I was bitten by the real estate bug at just 11 yrs old - many decades ago! My mom - who couldn’t speak English - & I viewed every property in our hood. Over 4 yrs, we closed on 3 of them. My family now had 5! We were successful! We were happy… oh wait, I had an abusive asshole for a father. You could say this was my first, real “What the Effie?” moment. I left home. Over time, I built on my love for real estate & did some pretty sweet deals… I also lost one in the 2008 crash. That hurt. Since joining SubTo a yr ago, I'm on fire to manifest my goals. Now I’m giving back! My podcast, What The Effie, is dedicated to everyone's struggle, y’all. IT. IS. REAL. Failing forward can sometimes feel like just plain failure. Period. But worry not! Our guests have been hugely successful at failing, just like all of us!
