My name is Scott McMurrain, and I was born and raised in Florida. I lived in Texas for 11 years before moving to Virginia in 2011. I am a single father raising two children, Tyler and Sydney, and reside in Fishersville, Virginia. I hold a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas, and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. I am a licensed attorney, but am not currently practicing. I owns RDS Control Systems, a software development company that creates software for restaurant delivery services. Our software is used by businesses throughout the United States. I am very active with the Lions Clubs. I joined the Staunton Lions Club shortly after moving to Virginia, and have served as club Treasurer, Secretary, and three terms as club President. I served as District Governor for District 24-L in 2019-2020.
