Show-Me Chefs is an award-winning broadcast and webcast culinary competition series produced by the Missouri State University Department of Media, Journalism and Film and airing on KOZL Channel 27. We feature talent from and strive to build relationships with our local and regional culinary community. Eight local and regional Missouri chefs compete head-to-head to prepare a three-course meal for a panel of judges from the Springfield culinary community. Chefs are scored based on taste and flavor profile, incorporation of mystery ingredients, cooking quality, and presentation. The winner each episode advances to the next round of competition, and the best chef from the Show-Me State is crowned champion.
